Rose Bespoke Wedding Poetry Service

Symbols of love, romance and gratitude, Roses are a gorgeous choice to represent my most popular bespoke poetry package. As you read you’ll get a glimpse into the love story that inspired the poem, as well as an idea of the type of poem I can write for you. You can also see the range of illustrations I can create, ranging from a flower border, a story book style illustration and a response to the simple request “I’d like it sparkly please”.

Each illustrated poem is printed to 1200 dPI on 170 gsm G.F.Smith Munken Fine paper and comes in a cardboard mount so it is ready to frame. Illustrated prints are delivered using Royal Mail tracked 48.

The cost of this service starts at £99.00. The only variation is if you would like a more formal style such as a sonnet or villanelle. Prices for this are given on request.

Poems are featured with kind permission of my lovely clients.

To see the poems at their best I recommend viewing on a laptop or mobile.

Sophia and Alfie asked for a wedding reading that showed how much they love being outdoors, with a subtle nod to the magical way they met. They’re voracious travellers and asked if I could include a reference to the European cities they love.

Flo and Ben

Flo and Ben asked me to write a poem for their wedding that was really romantic and included some of the things they love. The most important thing was that the poem was subtle and beautiful. They loved the result and the Japanese style illustration is an elegant nod to their honeymoon destination.

Allie and Tricia

Working with Tricia on her poem for Allie was such a privilege. Their love story is glorious and brimming with tender moments. Tricia was keen to have a poem that went beyond the usual list of events that she’d seen written by other wedding poets and it was a joy to create this for such and inspiring couple.

Simon and Clare

Simon and Clare renewed their vows last year and the love and care they still feel after thirty years of marriage is tangible. When Simon got in touch to commission a poem that was “nice but not mushy” I knew this was going to be a fun project to work on. The brief was that it had to be simple and show how the little things keep their love and relationship strong.

Cassie and Jaspreet

I worked with Cassie’s best woman for this wedding poem. What I love is that it manages to be tender and fun all at the same time. I managed to capture the strength of friendship, and the love of Cassie and Jaspreet’s relationship, as well as the strong sense of fun that’s so important to them all. I especially love the cheeky last line, contributed by the best woman herself.

Fran and Peter

This gorgeous poem is rooted in the fabulous setting the couple chose for their wedding. Working from photographs of the Tuscan hills that mean so much to Fran and Peter, I built a poem that reflects the strength and richness of their relationship, as well as the joy they felt at making their vows in the presences of their closest friends and family.
